This year'sAnnual General Meeting will be followed bylunch (12:30) and a tour (15:00) of the Little Atlantique Brewery - Laureateat du Prix National de la Construction Bois 2020 - Rehabilitating a facility category, commented by its architect Christophe Theilmann.
The LAB is housed in a former oil mill dating from 1856. It now houses a beer-brewing hall, a pub and an events room. The original building, with its few openings, is extended to the south, facing the Loire River, by a visible timber-framed, fully glazed extension. A monumental sliding door opens up half the façade. The spaces and their organization exploit the original composition of the buildings. Simple, unadorned materials - solid wood, concrete, steel and glass - combine different eras.
AIESB offers you a tour of the LAB and a presentation by Christophe Thielmann, but lunch is at your own expense.
Please let us know before 23/01/2023,
